How do I send my student a reflection question?

Once you select a reflection question from our Library or a custom reflection question of your own, you can follow these steps  to send your chosen reflection to your student(s):

  1. Click on Library
  2. Click into the Reflection question under Up Next or within a Collection. You can also click Create Your Own Reflection Question at the top of the page

  4. Click Next
  5. Record through Video or Audio. While this step is optional, recording a video or audio will help you better engage your student(s) and give them additional context about the prompt.

  6. If you do not want to record video or audio, click Skip Recording at the bottom.
  7. If you do want to record a video or audio:
    1. If you've selected a prompt from our Content Library, Along will also provide you with Suggested talking points for you to reference while you're recording.
    2. Click Give permissions to grant Along access to your camera and/or microphone and start recording.
        • You can also choose a fun overlay to add to your video (available only for the Chrome browser on a desktop)

    3. When you've finished recording, click Stop.
    4. You can review the recording, re-record or move onto the next step by clicking Next on the bottom of the modal.
  8. Review everything you've added so far to ensure it looks correct before you send it to your student(s).
    1. If anything looks incorrect, click Edit on the relevant section so you can modify it.
    2. If everything looks correct, click Send.

Your reflection question has been sent to your selected student(s)! You can always see this prompt by clicking Home on the left-hand navigation bar.
